• The Kessel team has been serving many areas of the oil and gas industry and commercial construction for 70 years. Our roots take us back to the Bradford oil fields when W. O. Kessel started by serving the petroleum industry back when both entities were new.

  Our base of operations is Bradford, McKean County, PA and the surrounding North East Pennsylvania and Southern New York counties. We have built Corporate, Field Offices and Shops for several of the oldest and largest oil & gas producers in the area.

  We have worked with mid stream gas producers and transmission companies for remote located compressor stations, processing plants, pump stations, meter houses and related needs. We typically operate as a Design Build, General Contractor or we can follow your plans and scope. Our geography places us in an ideal location to support activities in the Marcellus Shale play.

Our Oil and gas services include

Site Development; Buildings and Access Roads

Kessel typically self performs their own site work in preparation for their projects. We have our own experienced Site Development personnel. We own and maintain our site work equipment. We are capable of developing access roads and building sites for compressor facilities, gas processing plants and water treatment facilities.

Metal Fabrication; structural steel, crane systems

Kessel maintains a welding and fabricating shop at their facilities in Bradford as a support function for ongoing projects. We have fabricated conventional structural steel for our own building projects as well as crane systems and related services.

Crane Services; compressor & equipment picks, building erection

As part of our building systems end erection capabilities we own and maintain a 60 ton and various related cranes, lifts & skid steers capable of remote site construction.

In addition to the above areas that Kessel can self-perform, we believe there are several other strengths that we can bring to the table.

Single Source Responsibility - Our firm typically operates as the General Contractor offering Design Build, single source responsibility, “turn- key” projects. Kessel can be counted on to provide peace of mind so that you can focus on your core business. In this regard we are developing mutually beneficial relationships with several midstream gas service companies. Our experience in dealing with these service companies provides us with keen interest in working together to provide single source, turn key projects for the gas industry.
